Resilience isn't a fixed trait you're born with. It's a muscle, and like any muscle, it can be built, strengthened, and trained.
This half-day workshop goes beyond the buzzword. Drawing on the 5R Theory, the Four Domains of Resilience, and a personal diagnostic that gives you an honest picture of where you stand today, you'll leave with more than insight. You'll leave with a practical, personalised action plan, and the tools to use it.

Developed from over 40 years of real-world leadership experience across industries and continents, including some of the most high-pressure environments imaginable, this workshop delivers what most resilience training doesn't: a structured path from where you are now to the preferred reality you're capable of reaching.

What's in it for you

Resilience touches every part of your working life. Here's where you'll feel it most ..

Who this workshop is for:

Anyone who operates under pressure — which is most of us. This workshop is designed for professionals at every level who want to understand what resilience actually is, where theirs currently stands, and how to build more of it. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit. The best time to build resilience is before you need it.

These may include: Team leaders and managers navigating change, individual contributors managing high workloads, HR and L&D professionals building team wellbeing programmes, and anyone who has felt the gap between how they're performing and how they know they're capable of performing.

Session 1
Understand What Resilience Actually Is
Session 2
Build Your Personal Resilience Action Plan
EXPECTATIONS:
Most people think resilience is about toughing it out. It isn't. In this opening session we deconstruct what resilience really means, across its Four Domains, through the 5R Theory, and in the distinction between a Fixed and Growth Mindset. We build your personal Resilience Circle score so you know exactly where you stand.

Frameworks introduced:
• The Four Domains of Resilience- Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, Mental.
• The 5R Theory. Routines, Reactions, Roles, Relationships, Reflections.
• Fixed Mindset vs Growth Mindset- which one runs the show under pressure?
• Your Resilience Circle- a personal diagnostic score across five dimensions.

Workshop Promise - by the end of this session you will be able to:
Define resilience across its four domains, not just as 'mental toughness'
Identify which of the 5Rs is your strongest stress trigger.
Recognise your dominant mindset and understand how to shift it.
Score your current resilience honestly across five dimensions.
EXPECTATIONS:
Insight without action fades. This session takes your Resilience Circle scores and turns them into a structured improvement plan working through each of the five build areas with the APD improvement model. We close by connecting resilience to mental health and wellbeing, and every participant leaves with a Day 1 Commitment.

Frameworks applied:
• APD Improvement Model- a structured approach to improving each resilience score
• Five Build Areas- Emotional Intelligence, Energy, Relationships, Perspective, Priorities
• Wellness Progress Map- the structured path from interpersonal stress to interpersonal wellness
• Accountability Partner- identify who is in your corner and how to use them intentionally

Workshop Promise - by the end of this session you will be able to:
Build a targeted action plan for each of your five resilience dimensions.
Map your personal journey from current state to Preferred Reality.
Understand the connection between resilience and long-term mental health.
Leave with a single Day 1 Commitment — the one thing you will do within 24 hours.
